Hey all-
So having survived 2.5 years at May doing the time in I moved off to Fuel Tankers for six months and decided I HATED it, now I'm hauling the US Mail and although the hourly is good I'm just not good with home daily, no freaking hours and a dog who gives me the eye like "why the ever-loving goat toss are we STILL here, Bro?" Go figure. They say it's a lifestyle and all that, all I know is I MISS it. I like to run and run long, brutal hours that would put most to shame- dodging deer and elk and the usual night creatures out here on the West Coast but give me that ANY day than the X-Ute sheeple I have to fight every day in traffic delivering their crap to PDX.
So what's the opinion on a company that would run me for weeks/months at a time, pay decent and allow me my canine co-pilot? Preferably something with like 4-5 weeks on with one off and not be having issues like "we just need this one more Bro" every time it's time for me to go home. I don't mind that occasionally but making it a habit will burn me out quicker than this 7.5 hours a day stuff does.
4 years in- need a new OTR challenge
