    I am trying to enter canada from Detroit area on July 3rd maybe around 11.30pm to bring my family to see Niagara Falls.
    regular car , no semi
    just asking how long it should take , what to expect , 3 citizens and 2 GC holders .
    never crossed us border
    admins please remove if not allowed

    Check with Canada to see if the GC holders can enter Canada without a visa.

    Ensure no criminal convictions on anybody that would prohibit entry to Canada.
    And passports..
    Even tho weed is legal here, you cannot posses it at the border.

    Sarnia crossing is usually faster, same distance. Get gas at the last exit of Michigan

    They're going to ask if you have any food, I've brought canned stuff and cup noodles and whatnot up there and never had any issues. If you don't want to worry about that just don't bring any with you

    You don’t have to go through Toronto to get to Niagara Falls. It saves about 1.5 hours over staying stateside
