The 12 bolt axle goes back to being a White Motors thing. They made their own in house axles. Basically clones of the Rockwell's. So Rockwell made the 12 bolt for White built products. AutoCars ran lots of them too. They also made an all aluminum gear case and housing for the Western market Very rare.
