For good sakes dont go to werner bad choice you will hate them
-
Yeah, Werner's awful and TransAm is on the verge of bankruptcy. My advice is see if anything else is out there.
-
Check out Watkins and Shepard, Cargo Express in Idaho, Crete, US Xpress and Stevens those are my top 5. Good luck.

I had a pre-hire from Wil-Trans that sounded like a good offer, it just wasn't for me at this stage of the game, but I have heard little negative about them. You can give them a shot. I just chose to go a different direction, but wasn't scared to go with them if I didn't get this other regional offer. Wil-Trans is hiring CDL grads.

Family Dollar? Lots of night runs and short runs, besides that Werner? Paperless logs!!!
Roehl pulls flatbed drivers now, lots of freight, they are overbooked by orders. Good training if you had not done flats b4. Go with Roehl. -
i havent heard good about werner training so im going with roehl in june
-
I see you're a student as well. What are you basing the Werner statement on if you don't mind me asking?
I have a pre-hire with them as well but I am not jumping on it just yet.
-
Paperless logs isn't the biggest problem Werner has. If you read the posts here many drivers are unhappy with them. No miles.

I read somewhere that the big companies get a substantial tax break every time they hire a student. I guess combine that with the low training pay and they can run freight for next to nothing for awhile with every new hire.
