I am wondering if Conway Freight in MN offers a apprenticship program? If it does, what does it offer and what would someone need in oder to qualify for it? I am currently looking to get into the truck driving profession. I have driven with a class B in the past. Any ideas or help is appreciated. Thanks.

Hello and Welcome to the Site
Use our Search feature to help with your research. If you are unemployed or under employed, you could possibly qualify for free funding, for training, through the WIA program. Keep us posted. Best of Luck!

adam5h Thanks this. -
Not sure but you could call the nearest terminals personnel dept. and ask direct.
adam5h Thanks this. -
yeah, you'll have to call.
your best bet might be hooking up with one of the companies that train you to get a CDL. You'll have to stay with them for 1 year to "pay off" the schooling, but after you get that 1 year experience, you can go just about anywhere.
Most companies require 6 months to 1 year otr experience.adam5h and kickin chicken Thank this. -
Con-way Freight has no experience requirement set in stone. Some terminals will hire students and some will not. I do believe if you receive CDL training here you're on the hook for a year but if you make a year here odds are you won't leave - turnover here after one year is low and after five it's almost zero..adam5h Thanks this.
