Nope. I'm sitting here at the Flying J in Kingman. That post was a reply from last week I think. It was when I-40 got shut down in Winslow.

I was making that mistake in almost a year ago. You can't log above 65 mph no matter how you drive, believe me it gets creative.
-
Yea, very creative lol Few years ago me and DOT was argueing my 71.3 average mph from Pembina, ND to Sisseton, SD. True... I was doing 75+, had a very light load and 75 mph states. They can write a speeding ticket based on log book. But still yet, can't log over 65. Kind of a catch 22 lol
-
My wife and I log 680 miles for 11 hours. Good for the MPG also. We are getting 6.4 right now with 78,0000 gross. Not bad for a Classic
Gereke Thanks this. -
But I thought 62mph was only for sissies who work for bottom feeding companies who govern their trucks?
Fuel economy be darned! Especially when you are paying for it yourself!!
Reminds me of a conversation I heard over the CB when I was at the TA in Oakley, KS. (Couple of Drivers out on the interstate, passin by)
"So, what's your mpg at?"
"Right now, I have the cruise control set at six-nine and I'm getting three point seven eight"
"Not bad! I'm getting three point two five".
I think...
Yep.. Layin down the miles.. At those MPG's you probably have to just to offset the fuel cost... -
Thats a good day of driving right there. I'm getting... mpg... well... gpm... ummm... let's just skip that part for now lol I got your message about CAT
Just a matter of when and where. Hopefully sooner than later because its getting worse.
-
Yup I am one of them thar sissies, but I like my paycheck a lot better
-
Amen.
The name of the game is how many $$'s you put in your pocket..
Not your fuel tank. -
Acording to the sheets we got you can't go over 66 now. I say again give me electronic logs then all will be right. The Challenger Thanks this.
