the pay IS .22 per mile to start. The miles are split not the pay, and after the incremental increases i will be making .32 at my 6 month mark and.34 at 1 year. I have just finished school/28 days/and a month with a co driver. i left home Jan. 23 and am home on May 1. We averaged 5000 miles a week and my checks were total $2300 roughly. We are paid 2x a week and 1x a week they take $41 out for the bus ticket there/physical/lodging and nothing else. The only complaint i have is all of the ##### ### whiners who expect top dollar with no experience and hometime every 3-4 days. GET REAL! This company backs up what they say. No they are not perfect, in fact far from it but they do make an effort to accommodate a persons wide range of situations.

when i worked for crst I made pretty decent money, now the only thing i would avoid is advances, they will drain you faster than anything lol. If you manage yourself well out on the road crst is pretty decent, the only bad part ive noticed which has pissed of my dispatcher is the night/weekend dispatch cause they always sent us in a low freight area then get us a load like an hour before our dispatcher would get in
-
heck if the thought crosses someones mind that im a manager...then hell this is The President then. I understand the shill concept but REALLY? what does one do to prove otherwise? hell look up my facebook page and see my on the road pics....clearly NOT a manager! CRST managers dont get to go mountain biking in Moab Utah while on a slow rollin delivery or spend 1.5 days in vegas (if you must know i did pretty well) and i guess lastly what manager for a Cedar Rapids based company lives in Jacksonville Florida. Im no manager im just tired of reading all this pity party pessimistic BULL$#1T. U want FACTS? hit me up ill answer ASAP minus the BULL/
cincy dude Thanks this. -
I've put down an average of 600 miles a day for 3 weeks, they will run you till you refuse a load. Then you've just been blacklisted and are going to sit. The miles are there, but too many people want to sit in truck stops instead.

yea some weeks we would get about 5 - 6k, but i was a speed 2 team they said the only reason we werent a speed 1 was due to experience and there would still be weeks we would sit, but as far as refusing a load yea we tried that when we were out of hours and had to rescue a conway load didnt quite work in our favor lol, but they still ran us good and used us to rescue a lot of the airfreight loads
-
You are gonna have periods where you sit a day in any company.
We don't rescue air freight, we run them. It's best to work it out to where you don't have to deal with night and weekend dispatchers too much. Our dispatcher is good but he likes sending us to Carlisle for PM. Then we'll get stuck with some little bs loads out of there. -
yea i got stuck in carlisle a few times, and as far as rescuing loads, had to rescue a couple from some broken down petes, although one was stuck in the peterbilt dealership and we couldnt gain access to the trailer for a day so that one was a tight one.
