Reminds me of the big snap rings on trans countershafts or aux drive gear. One slips outta the pliers in the shop and you better yell "fore"

I've spent too many hours huntin for that sumbich'n detent spring in the carpet. Finally smartened up and bought bulk.

Close to home for sure if you're drivin that Ford

Hey if there's an eventual release back to freedom I might do that, I could learn a useful skill or two.

I promise pyro never got over 800 lmfao. I get a fuel nozzle caused it but how or why would you run one to that extreme and never catch it. Then act like you done 0 wrong. Come in on the hook outta Southwest Missouri last week, I decided to get the head off this morning early to access the damage.

On one of mine, I was trying to get the safety detent in, and as a precaution I hung a trash bag up in an attempt to to anticipate which direction the spring would fly if it slipped.

    It didn’t work…:biggrin_25521:

Mission accomplished, got the bearing changed out. Enough wrenching for today, time to go work on a deck in the sun and work on my farmer tan.

Truth. I turned 69 in April, I've heard it all my life " if I'd known I'd live this long I'd took better care of myself"
I guess when we're young we never think we'll get old and hurt all over. Sometimes I feel like a worn out old rig , got so much stuff needs replaced really not worth spending money on to fix up.
