Homie, I was a broker for a decade. I'm not making a point- I'm telling you the facts.

 

You're wasting your time. I've received similar treatment as yourself from that guy. If he can't do something, he thinks it's impossible to be done regardless of other's actual hands on experience.

 

I respect you coming here and being upfront about the reputation, especially acknowledging real issues instead of brushing them off. That kind of honesty goes a long way with carriers who’ve been burned before.
You’re right that bad actors exist on both sides, but the power imbalance usually makes broker behavior hurt more when it goes wrong. Hearing that there are brokers willing to push back on unfair rates and provide accurate info is encouraging, even if consistency across the company is the bigger challenge.
If more conversations like this happened openly, it would probably help rebuild some trust. Appreciate you stepping into the lion’s den and being willing to answer hard questions.
