I have a question ❓ I'm very new here and I need some inspections how do I initiate those. I mean I know I can go through the Way in motion and then be signaled in and then go over the scales and be waved on and expect that to be an inspection. So if I go into the scale how do I initiate an inspection? Do I just stop? I mean I know I don't do that. Can somebody tell me?

Huh? You "need some inspections"? Plural in the "inspection" part? Why on earth would you need these?

Unless you are asking about A CVMA inspection? Yeah, go to a truck mechanic and get an official state/federal inspection! Trust me, you don't want the DOT to be your inspector...

So, what OTHER inspections are you looking for? Your post has me baffled....

I'm in need of inspections for the company I work for which is new. How do I go about initiating that at a weigh station?

My boss told me to go through the weigh stations so we can get some inspections on his company. I guess like I said I'm new. I don't know he said and it looks better for brokers and people that go and review the company's site. I don't know I don't know

If you give the finger to every bear you see, I’m sure you'll get one

I was told to do the same thing at weight stations to improve the ratio of "clean inspections" to "bad inspections" on the company record. All I could do was cross the scale at the weigh station, park, go inside & ask for an inspection. Some weigh stations will say no & some will say yes, depending on their mood & employees available.

Which level they gave you when you did that?

I think the few times I asked the officers said they were too busy or NO.
