    Ain’t never heard of a software update for bad headlights.
    Another classic case of PACCAR making things more complicated than they need to be!

    Precisely why every time I’d take my truck for a PM service I’d ask them if there are any updates for the cab computers. I never had any issues with my last truck and most of the time if I got a notice in the mail it was for something that had already been taken care of.

    The cab computers control everything. Which is why it’s a good idea to check for updates periodically.

    Just had a software update in May when I had my injectors replaced. The faulty injectors on the 2022 & 2023 seemed to biggest issue. Regular headlight replace hapoens. I'm going to call them today because my truck is on that list.

    If I remember correctly the problem is that the lights will dim..Like the digital dash lights..it’s a simple software update, one roller dog says that the actual headlights don’t need replacing.

    Don’t underestimate “technology” :)
