So last year I was going through town when a car just pulled out of a parking lot without stopping, I did what I could to avoid it, I was doing 33 MPH, changed lanes and they hit the middle of the trailer (tanker). I was 105k, ran over the hood, driver and passenger went to the hospital, (this was last year by the way). No tickit, plenty of witnesses and my dash cam. Put in an application and didnt put it down and they asked about it, I didnt know it was reported, they said its not a big deal I just need to send the accident report, but how long does it show up for? Anything I can do about it? I have seen 3 years, 5 years and never. But figured there might be something I can do about it...

Coloradoman Thanks this. -
Sounds maddening
-
Sonce there were alleged injuries it will be listed as dot reportable accident even though clearly looks like they were at fault..

D.Tibbitt, drvrtech77 and Walk Among Us Thank this.

Does it say "unavoidable"? Because that's as good as not having it on your record.

Walk Among Us Thanks this.

Lonwolv54 and Coloradoman Thank this.

Because of the injuries and the tow, that’s a DOT Reportable Accident. 3 years.
Coloradoman Thanks this. -
It’s on your PSP report and will be for 5 years.
