Short answer.. Singh is a popular Indian name and also one that is adopted by baptized males.
Now imagine if all baptized Christian men adopted Smith as their last namegentleroger, catent, Bean Jr. and 2 others Thank this. -
“Majority of the male members of Sikh religion use "Singh " as their last name . As it is mandated in their religion.”

1 out of every 4 company officers has the last name Singh. That’s nearly 900 times more common in the USDOT file than in the general U.S. population. Smith is the most common last name in America. You'd expect to see it everywhere, including in the trucking industry. However, it only appears in about 6% of records.

Personally I can’t go on the attack against Indian people as one of my closest friends is from India. Befriend one and you’ll have a friend for life. Wife also works for an Indian and he is very kind and generous towards her. Lol, just gave her a $14k check just for answering the phone calls while he went to India for a couple weeks.
In short very loving people.
Texas and Florida are among the states that issue these non domiciled CDL’s..shocking, lol.hope not dumb twucker, catent and Siinman Thank this. -
Siinman Thanks this.

May as well break everything down by religion because the graph you presented is flawed.
Siinman Thanks this. -
I just find this very strange, This is why I think most are non-domiciled CDL's. Something is not adding up for me on this.
