Hopefully anomeley does not represent the majority at TMC...

As I watched 7 sailors die on my ship off the coast of Vietnam they bled as red as any Marine and screamed "mama" as hard as any grunt....

Why would that be sir? I have nothing but the utmost respect for any and all that serve. If you indeed served then you know what I meant so please don't confuse the issue. My dad was a squid.

From a squid who did serve and also the son of an army tank commander in WW2 who lost 2 brothers (army also - uncles I never met) this squid did take "don't have the metal" and "join the also rans" as an insult...

This squid would not consider TMC with the quality of that type of employee as part of their team...

Please reread your original post that I have included above...

i have read all the comments on TMC. some good, some bad. amazing reading the bad comments. i have driven at TMC and now work in the office. you have to be a cut above to make it here. the strict rules, and appearance, is above no other. why? we want to make the best of the best in these drivers. yeah the safestat score is high in one area, thats a reflection on drivers decisions not on the company when it comes down to it. i couldn't imagine working anywhere else. this company has alot of good pride, not the bad, like admitting you cant hack it with a tarp, or log by the rules, or too assamed when he screw up. those comments about forcing drivers to falsifiy logs, is totally bogus, working in safety i can tell you right now we put the hammer down. if you dont like running legal and want to become a liablity, do it at another trucking company, we are not putting up with it here in our house. we are not going to force you put yourself or this TMC at a liablity if involved in a bad situation with a false log. shine on Black and Crome, Shine on!!!

You have a chip on your shoulder for some reason. Maybe a Marine beat you down? I don't know but what I do know is that your comments are misplaced and you took my post out of context. This thread is about TMC not the best of the best (Marines) and the also rans (Squids and alike). Lets get back OT please. Simply put, we want only the best at TMC. This is to all who read this thread: If you have what it takes to work for the elite in flat bedding then we welcome you with open arms to our team. If you don't (and you know who you are) then please remain where you are because you will only be wasting our time as well as yours. You won't be happy here and ultimately you have to like what you are doing in order to be successful.

This group we have in safety is a group of highly dedicated and motivated people led by one of the best I have ever had the privilege to work for. We will systematically weed out those that bring us down and go above and beyond to help anyone here be a better contributor to the greater cause.
