The slow drag race (governed) on the interstates, it's worse.

I don’t spend most of my time riding on the interstate. We did a little over 600
miles on it today. It seems this problem has gotten worse. What gives?

What exactly are we talking about here? Two Swifties riding side by side for miles on I-10 in AZ so you had to pass them on the shoulder? :biggrin_25523:

A lot more trucks on the road. A higher percentage of them are governed. Fewer people are willing to back off and allow the pass.

I40 in Tennessee and i26 several in the fast lane not able to pass the truck on the right. A few hotshots as well.

This only helps you. These mega governed guys don't have radios for the most part.

I got so mad at two of these jackmeats a few years ago headed up 81 in the middle of the night that I sat on the bumper on the left with my driver's steer on the line and flashed my lights at him for a solid 30 minutes. He wouldn't give in, and neither would I.
I know, I let it get to me. He eventually yielded though.

I thought I was going to burn out my dimmer switch losing my sh** that night

The old 1976 352 Patriot of Pop’s had a hot 290 with a 10 spd. It would walk on around C F, Schneider, and J B. I sometimes wonder hp rating some of the newer trucks are running, some really do seem to be castrated….

I started going 64 to get the fuel bonus, but now I don't think I'll ever go back to 68 everywhere. My pay did not change in the slightest, and I just let the packs all pass. Nobody usually bothers getting back in the right lane in front of me until they're all gone.
