it is a codified regulation which amounts to pretty much a law that you have to follow with commercial vehicle regulations why don’t you try to violate those and see what happens… See what a DOT officer will do if you say they can enforce it.. go ahead and violate DOT regulations

 

Again, just trying to differentiate between Congress passed laws and committee passed laws. And again it doesn't matter because it is for commercial drivers only, not for everyone. In my very first comment I made that distinction.

So if we are talking about English proficiency, if a driver uses a double negative while talking to the DOT, will that get him put out of service?

It’s either learn English proficiency or you’re not getting a CDL in this country. It’s pretty plain and simple as clear as black and white… I can’t help but laugh my behind off at everyone of you folks and society that are turnaround and making excuses for this crap… We know where the problems lie
