In other news, Pennsylvania can go die in a fire.
rob313 and Captain Canuck Thank this. -
i am new to trucking and have not went out yet could someone tell which states that we can idle in please and thanks for the help
-
The list of can't is much shorter, thankfully. There's a pdf floating around but I don't have the link to the latest update.
Basically PA, NJ and all points northeast are no idle, though they don't bother you in upstate NY. Chicago area, Houston, and CA are anti truck. Most of the rest of the country doesn't care.olemissrebelfan Thanks this. -
It's usually not the states you have to worry about as much as the company you drive for.olemissrebelfan Thanks this.

I have a "clean idle" decal on my rig... So when it's God awful hot or cold as sheyat...Penn can go pound sand....
-
Huh?
Excuse my ignorance, but would you mind explaining that? -
Sure....I have a 2009 CARB approved for idling rig....
There is a decal on the driver's side on the hood that says "Clean Idle"....
It's a "Free Pass" according to CARB and Peterbilt... -
Cool. Thanks -
And Rendell is once again talking tolls. What a deal -- you'd get to pay for the aggravation of driving I-95...
