With the collision avoidance systems they have nowadays what I think they should come out with is a way for the body panels to eject off before impact. Then they could just be snapped back on afterwards totally unharmed.

D a m n shame,and it was the nicest looking one of the bunch. Maybe Volvo will take it back and use for crash safety analysis,if they don’t cannibalize it for parts and scrap it!

 

Well, it's not "destroyed", just new plastic, maybe some tweaking, that the dealer had to do anyway. This is a shame, and we don't know what happened, I doubt they were weighing up the unit. I think just a colossal screw up, and insurance will handle the rest. Normally they have qualified drivers for these rigs, but, I suppose, with the lack of applicants, the sales dude had to deliver them, with disastrous results.

 

Oh.....I can explain this one. A woman caused this. Either his wife sent him a picture of herself topless or he got into a serious argument with her and decided to commit domestic abuse to the Cat Scale.
