LOL.....yea, call the Human Resource Department and tell them who you are. I'm sure they just want to help you solve your problems.
They will help you find a bus ticket home after you get sent to a terminal and get fired for posting about them on this site.

My problem is not miles. My truck costs me about 8 days down per month in the shop. The computers can not talk to each other and the shop can not find the problem. The system does not even record errors, it just shuts the truck down and I have to disconnect the batteries to reset the computers. Heading back to Tacoma to get that looked at and an AC problem.

Stay away from the Fontana yard in California. They are just swamped and I would have had to wait for 4-5 days for them to just look at my problems.

Miles seem to be good, when the truck behaves.

Hey ya'll.. I too am an IDC driver and recently when thru a phase of some pretty bad morale issues. I was primarily frustrated by mechanical issues, then that was intensified by the whole integration of the new system which in the beginning what nothing short of horrific. Our truck had been towed 4 times since Feb and no one seemed to really care that as a team, our best month since feb was 9000 miles, dwindling down to 7000 in april. We are currently in a loaner truck that we picked up in Nampa after leaving our broke down truck in tacoma and boarding a rental car for a road trip to get the loaner. Then we will probably be on our way to get a new-to-us truck that will hopefully get us moving again.

mmorrill.. we had to go above our FM's head (he actually encouraged us to do it) and go talk to the VP of Ops (fabulous guy), but we finally got some results. our old truck has communication issues too, and is getting a new wiring harness. Get Mac on the job!!

I think everyone is starting to learn how to use the new system and things seem to be smoothing out. Its been crazy but IMHO its well worth the wait. I know I feel much much better about things now that I can see a light at the end of the tunnel,

Renee.. thanks so much for your help, here and on the FB page. Its nice to know someone is listening.

Your guys company used to run 70 mph. Watkins Shepard drivers (especially team drivers) used to go there for 2 year graduation. Why are your #### trucks so slow? (62 mph?) And guess what? I see more and more outside carriers to your company pulling your trailers. What gives? Only if you know for sure...

Our trucks are supposed to be governed at 63.. some go faster.. ours 64 generally. True, we have a lot of owner ops, but most of the trucks pulling our loads are pulling brokered freight. Its a completely different section of the company... just another way for the company to make money. Usually they are loads that Interstate would not have been able to get for the company drivers anyways. I used to get really pissed off when I seen them pulling our trailers but my former fleet manager/friend was switched over to the brokerage side of the company and once she explained it, I didnt feel ripped off so much. Every once in a while we still haul some of the brokered stuff.. like the C.H. Robinson loads.
