Search "8-2 split" for better details. You can do a 2 hour break off duty. Then you must finish the other 8 in sleeper berth for it to be legal. Also your company must allow it and then finally it must be enabled in your ELD.

That Is so true, It causes alot more wreckless driving If you ask me, I started In 2008 on paper logs and no one would blow their air horns in the fuel isle so impatient

I thought when the 14 pause came out in 2020-2021 finally a rule that helps out the driver It was nice to extend my day if I felt like running deeper into the night or even to get to a truck stop to take a shower but now they took it back away
