Get them to fix it. They are not bothersome when they work right and you drive safely. As far as disabling it, do you realize that it's not your truck? If I owned a truck, anyone tampering with anything that they're not supposed to (especially safety equipment) would be instantly terminated. I think it's time to find a job that you can live with or buy your own truck so you can do what ever you want with it.

If you can't, or don't want to go into business for yourself, then you need to respect other peoples equipment that makes your living. If you can't, man up and find a job that you can live with, you have no right tampering with equipment that you don't own.

Okay I am an owner operator I own the #### truck nobody will help remove or shut mine off either. You don't have a way to help somebody out here that's useful instead of cutting the boy down because he's trying to make his job a little easier than shut up

They are very bothersome when working correctly, as most car drivers cant drive and you end up hearing it screech non stop as long as youre in traffic. in the option on mine the volume is off completely. when working properly its dangerous, as it bypasses the abs and will lock up the drives,(I have the flat spots to prove it) but not work at all on the front breaks or trailer breaks. (It does this by activating the park break as to not turn off the cruise) this is jack knife material! ! Mine when calibrated correctly will jake break down hills, up hills and constantly in traffic. Rams on the breaks for no reason, when going under a bridge, rounding corners, with signs, guard rails, and freak out if there is a car in the other lane when im rounding a corner as it "sees" the car in the other lane. This causes the driver to turn off the cruise, thus mitigating the entire system...... even if you use it, and it doesn't drive you insane, its still dangerous as the driver will become complacent and rely on it, and thats when it lets you down. One other thing, if there is an obstacle in your lane that isnt moving, it will register that as "nill" and ignore it and allow you to crash into it. Had it not been for me paying attention I would have creamed a caddy that lost a wheel and stopped in the right lane. onguard didn't even register it was there!! Mine has recently stopped working im guessing because of the snow? But anyway now no cruise control. If I restart the truck it will work for a few minutes then turn red. Cruise is a big deal at my company, it's tracked and if you go faster than a preset speed you get nailed for over speed. Which is a termination event if your overspeed is at too high of a percent. ive told them, but still can't get them to fix it. Im seriously thinking about going owner op just to get away from this nutty and dangerous setup!

MF its not about tailgating, i have 2020 t680 and this #### tried to kill be about 3 times so far, vehicle will be in another lane and if it a slight curve ,and i mean slight, it will brake on me, holy ####

Crash mitigation beeping makes people nuts. "Try slowing down" advice is funny. But I do agree.
