Serious question here...

    Thermoking is ridiculously expensive to have repaired. Their hourly rate is higher than dealerships and part prices would make even cummins parts look cheap. Once they are a couple years old they turn into money pits, parts always breaking and codes constantly popping up that shut the unit down. If it isnt an obvious problem they will take hours to diagnose and then you'll be lucky if they fix it correctly and hand you a bill in the four figures.

    Get a generator and portable AC. You'll be far better off in the long run.

    done that for years, dealing with gas gets to be a pain, im back to just idling

    next truck I’ll probably be looking at either a tk or carrier apu, said id never own a carrier but im actually pretty happy with the new reefer unit, may try 2 for 2, but of course they are all good when they are new
