First thing I took off of mine when I got it.......but like you, I may need to rethink that decision, as well.
Still able to do it, but the bunions I've developed since then, let you know they ain't very happy with it.

 

Foot drop….going to have to research this.

Hey @Rugerfan , I'm back up in your old stompin grounds. In my totally subjective, somewhat biased opinion the King Range/Lost Coast is God's chosen paradise, but Shasta - Trinity is a millimeter behind it. Heading down through Forks of the Salmon today, Hoping to camp somewhere between Willow Creek or Mad River tonight.

 

i hear you can smoke some mighty fine iguana with mesquite timber.

Cant say about iguana .. but it does make a good wood for the smoker

 

Found one. Ever just wake up one morning, no pain, but finding walking so much more difficult? Major bummer.

 

Gila monsters is the closest thing we got to iguanas in az... They are poisenous.. only seen a couple in my whole life
