I would guess Houston to Alaska would have a high gross.
-
I would hope anywhere in the lower 48 to Alaska would have a high gross.

So,you want people to give you information on the lanes they are running so you can cut in on them? Good luck with that.

years ago when i had a loadboard subscription. I saw plenty of 40’ partials for well under a buck a mile going to AKcke, Rugerfan, exhausted379 and 3 others Thank this. -
40 foot is still considered a partial?

That’s was going to be my reply but with more sarcasm but I held back. Seems now days, they want to be handed down a golden platter from individuals that have worked hard and sacrificed getting to earned that buck they’ve seek for years. Not happening.Last edited: Aug 24, 2025

Are you on a mileage contract or percentage? Percentage pays worlds better for short hops. Most drivers will have this mileage mindset stuck in their brain. For example, a driver in Houston will look for loads out of Texas. There will be loads going out of LaPorte, Galveston and Freeport going to Houston, Channelview and Baytown that pays exactly the same as the load going to Chicago or Atlanta.
So, I would stay between Seattle and Vancouver, or within a 500 mile radius of GaryIN, Baltimore MD, Charlotte NC and Houston.beastr123, CAXPT, cke and 1 other person Thank this. -
Midwest. It’s harvest season and stuff needs to get moved/repaired.
