    Not in many locations for experienced drivers. In the Midwest they are now top of the pay scale generally with Cooper going out of business. There is always the exception because freight rates are location specific, but they don’t typically haul cheap freight in my part of the country. I have a former Co-worker at a rail head in middle America that made $170,000 last year. He definitely moves alot of cars but is home nearly every night.

    Yes, Delta is now part of Proficient, as is Brothers, Tribeca and a few others. What I have heard is not much has changed, yet, at Delta and John is still heavily involved in management but you know how that goes.

    Also, yes, S&S sold out. They were a great smaller outfit, delivered them many trucks over the years.

    As for driveaway, Active pays well if you get into deck sets, single units not so much. Same with Iron Tiger, they are the union sister company to Truck Movers and do a lot out of Macungie up into Canada and such. They are Machinist Union and pay pretty well. Both have terminals that would be good for Mike but do have a lot of east coast, although Active does a lot outnof Denton, so there are plenty of long trips.

    I'm not sure about them, but they were some nice trucks.

    I know John Larick is looking for a driver, just delivered him a new 80' quick loader, big bunk, chop roof, 13 spd, but he will be mostly east coast and the Carolinas with his freight, some Tennessee.

    I hope you find what you're looking for.

    @Banker

    I put a call in to Lititz today to start the ball rolling. Never heard if he has trucks open or not. They were advertising on indeed a couple three weeks ago for Dundalk and Lordstown work.

    shall see !
