One these people are European based and will get way with murder! Two all the money you put into maintenance for your truck, every time you pull in to get truck worked on gets deducted out of your pay, any on the road repairs gets deducted out of your pay! Mean while your escrow gets larger and larger and bottom line! You will not get a dime of that back! They keep your escrow with some bogus made up story and there is not one thing you can do about it! Trust me, no lawyer will touch them cause they are European based and oh by the way, contract for lease states lease is under Illinois law and that is what protects them but yet you sign contract in Indiana? Go figure, we never seen a dime of $37,000.00 we had in escrow and they will not issue you a final statement! They will tell you you owe them!

 

I know this is a year old, but why would anyone want to lease from a foreign -owned company? They almost all have a bad reputation and I would guess, 99% never return escrow. You can find hundreds of reviews of not returning it or last pay. There are also maybe, hundreds of reviews concerning overcharges for maintaining a truck. These companies pay well for company drivers more than American ones. A driver usually has more freedom with them and one day or a couple hours orientation, but you go there knowing you are most likely not getting your escrow or last pay. However, if you stay there for some time the gain in wages will overtake the loss and you can put some money away. Overall, Chicago area trucking companies seem to be unethical. You should know this about them. They are now in Florida, Texas, California, Michigan, and Indiana in a large presence. Most of them post ads on craigslist with offers all over the county until you call and find they are in the Chicago area-especially infamous is the Elk Grove Village Gang.

 

Additionally, STAY AWAY from DAX Logistix out of Sarasota and Springfield MO. DAX is an outright criminal cowboy outfit.
