Had one in an old Ford Galaxie. Complete with the 140 mph speedo. Felt like Elwood Blues driving that thing.

 

wasnt a 429 a shorter stroke than a 428 ? My memory gland aint as glandular as it used to be .

 

I want to say that the 428 was the FE block (like the 390) and the 429 is like a 460.
I could be wrong though

 

My freind Frankie who has the 51-52 is building a Cabover Ford like the 48 posted earlier. It will have a 3208 Cat behind the the cab. He is making it look like it’s running a blower….

There was a place near AustinTX that would produce press boxes. Your picture reminded me of how I used to deliver to schools. Some times, getting an RGN around the backside of a school can be extremely challenging.
