Beware of WEL companies

Good grief. Yeah sounds pretty pathetic on their part.

You get tired of them let us know on here. Quite a few companies that hire with 3 months exp.

 

Odd that everything you see is a scam....

Sounds like you're actually the problem....I was at wel as long as I communicated they either rescheduled or tcalled with another driver. ..sounds like something isn't adding up....if wel was this bad they wouldn't have any drivers ...

 

I'll keep an eye on this space. If they'd actually be on top of maintenance, i could probably look past some of the bad load planning and scheduling. i'll eventually figure out how to grease this machine to be more efficient. Something closer to home in the Northeast is welcome for me as well.

 

WEL now is not the same as WEL ten years ago.

 

Can you elaborate on that statement? I had a bad experience with them and left 2 days into orientation following quite a few things that were told to me by the recruiter that I found out were not going to happen.

 

If it was their 1 and only recruiter in Wisconsin, she gets paid to lie to fill seats on commission.

You more than likely did yourself a favor by leaving.

 

Doesn't that describe at least 90% of trucking company recruiters everywhere? They're all like "reverse car salesmen."
