In my thoughts, your lady and kids safety is priority one. A secure home. A reliable car. Good tires and brakes. Food in the fridge. This is basic.
Jack and Zach is the foundation of Jill’s world. She doesn’t know anything else. These guys are less than your and my minimum. It’s not my business, I understand. The thing that my dumb arse had to learn is we can’t talk. We can’t break bread or ever go beyond the basic small talk and I don’t small talk.

I know that now. I am a little slow, but I am learning. Thanks gents.

 

This is the reason I wanted my daughters to be financially stable, strong willed, and independent.

You have a lady with the mindset she needs a man to succeed, she settles

Strong women find strong men, usually raise strong, confident children.

Situations as you described are sad. That poor kid grows up thinking this is normal.

 

What women call “chemistry” is what they are used to. Broken down cars, no money, uncertainty, in and out of jail for dumb €hit = chemistry. Captain SaveAHo is the guy that will try to convince her that there’s better. She’s going to be attracted to what she knows. For a decent Man, that’s a train wreck.

 

You know how someone will leave California because they hate it , yet bring that mentality to wherever they relocate? People from Mexico move north for a better life, but are homesick. I can’t bring my American mentality to an Afghan.

Your daughters will have an advantage over all their friends because they will know how a Man operates. The problem is…

…there aren’t any more Men.

All this is easily avoidable.

When you move into a new place, bring the upright vacuum hooked to a long extension cord into the front yard.
Vacuum the front yard in your underwear. (pro tip: the plastic clip on Easter bunny ears are optional)

Neighbors from then on:
Will not talk to you
Will not ask for anything
Will not even look at you. Ever

If new neighbors move in, the neighborhood will also let the new ones know. (added bonus)

Caution: If tried in certain parts of California, you might get invited over to party.
