Pretty much I saw the listing when I was randomly looking at indeed. Though technically location listed I live over a hour from. Currently waiting to hear back after I sent my application. Maybe this time will work

So was told still won't hire out of Maine. Because that new customer in Maine is so random with loads. So why even make job listings....
Friend Thanks this. -
So they are hiring dedicated drivers for an intermittent customer. What are they expecting those drivers to do when there are no loads?. Maybe they have a guaranteed weekly pay because noone is going to sit around making no money.Friend Thanks this.
-
I wonder if they expected more loads than the customer hadFriend Thanks this.

Quite possible or maybe trying for more business in that area.
Friend Thanks this. -
Dude you live in Maine..
I said this in the Cryo thread.
Just move to a different state if you want a trucking job.
Charlotte NC has mountains and an Airgas plant. -
Part of me was thinking about moving to Rhode Island

When I used to haul milk with a company out of Georgia I noticed a lot of workers that work on the dairy farms looks old I guess they work those guys hard or to death
-
As of Friday no more Agricultural Exemption PC. This is going to hurt the guys running dedicated raw milk as I know the exemption allowed them to get extra miles/loads.
I used it occasionally if it would benefit me to get to parking or a customer, but I rarely ever used it for the full 150 miles allowance. I just had no desire to drive all those extra hours.Friend, Dennixx, asphaltreptile311 and 3 others Thank this.
