So that job opening I talked about at GenOx from July. I talked to them about it again. Seems like it was the one they shoved Eliot ME on. Bringing possibly preloaded trailers from Montreal QC to Madison ME

I run out of a large terminal in Texas when I have to run routes. And I'm also a driver trainer whenever we get people that want to work. Also I put on Smith system and safe start classes across my region. Along with driver observations when I have the time. So although I wasn't with it before. I think differently now. Being that I do these different things. It allows me to make decent pay. But as I said if we had enough people the pay would go down. To about 115k-125k max.

For any prospective driver thats thinking of working for any Private Cryogenic company. Yes the money is here for you to make! However this isn't a situation of OTR Trucking companies. Rules will be followed or you won't be employed!!! Many people come for the pay but quickly realize they don't want to do this. STOP THINKING YOU WILL CHANGE THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN IN PLACE 15 PLUS YEARS!!!

I hate to say this but several people around 58 yrs old and up. Feel like they are going to get hired on. And only do 8 to 9.5 hrs per day. Nope, you will work just as hard as a 30 yr old driver. And no one will be doing work for you! If you have a senior citizen entitlement mindset. Please apply elsewhere!!!

Aside from that if your sick of going from company to company. Tired of staying over the road for 2 weeks plus. Exhausted from terrible equipment and crazy appointment times. Looking for affordable health insurance plans. Wanting a good sense of job security. And you can change your mindset from go go go to is this or that going to be safe! Then please apply, this industry needs more quality people.

So I'm approved for this at $39/hour no overtime pay. But that's because of Massachusetts law. Am wondering if I should do it

Only you can answer that, buddy. Theres alot of factors involved. Will it better your life now? Will it better it at a later date? Is the schedule better? Do you think you will be happier? Is it worth it to you? Will it open doors farther down the road?

I think the main question at this point to ask yourself....is this:

For now -- & for the foreseeable future -- will the GenOx position truly have enough work to keep you consistently busy?

If not -- do they offer any sort of weekly minimum pay guarantee (assuming you are of course available for work then)?

Are other GenOx drivers near there currently busy -- or (instead) sometimes sitting & waiting for work? And (if so) for how long?

In my area -- I see different cryo carriers running loads -- but NO job openings with A-N-Y-ONE...for hundreds of miles -- especially compared with 3+ years ago....the cryo job market is like a frickin' cemetery around here....:(

The recruiter mentions about stuff expanding. Ignoring that the things their mentioning they won't hire me for. Like talking about a terminal in Vermont. They did mention the customer currently is taking i think around 4 loads a day. But I'm unsure how it is for winter for a tomato plant.

One thing making unsure about switching. Is how good is genox as a whole? Like current company I'm at I do get mad at them sometimes. But still is great. It's just im so tired of hauling the same stuff.

So I messaged them about stuff like if things slows down. Was told currently it's active but they claim do have other options available if things slows down. Like some 3 weeks out thing
