Maybe ill walk over there and check it out next time but lately I hate going anywhere there isn't a Kwik Trip to park at. And some of those are better than others too. Those $8 showers, nice laundry machines, corny fake-nice cashiers and all the tasty food you can possibly stuff in your face to satisfy any craving is hard to pass up.
What are some must see destinations while driving?

In iowa under their kwik star brand they seem to be in small towns scattered throughout the interior of the state nowhere near the interstate and I love it
tscottme Thanks this. -
I loved Kwik Star/Kwik Trip stops when I was on a dedicated Midwest route with JB Hunt (Jan 2019 to Jul 2024). I loved everything about the franchise: the fresh fruits, the salads, the soups, the specialty drinks, the deli meals, the desserts, the samples... OH MY! The cleanest bathrooms you could ever cop a squat in! Thrifty food at a reasonable price and enough parking for truckers. It's essentially paradise!

I agree. I went through there once not even realizing where I was until I got there and I drove through there with my mouth wide open! Just beautiful. Honestly, I think Utah is the most scenic state in the country.86scotty, D.Tibbitt, FullMetalJacket and 3 others Thank this.

Same place. I don’t know what the deal is with name being different. I used to hate stopping in South Beloit until they opened that one there.
Regular joints like T/A or Pilot just suck to put up with once you get spoiled by the Kwik Trips. The one little gripe I have with them is that not ALL locations that have truck parking have showers and laundry.FullMetalJacket Thanks this. -
the town itself is very “Aspen, Colorado” or “Jackson, Wyoming” in that there’s a lot of yuppies with vacation houses there and a lot of overpriced coffee shops..,that sort of place. But the scenery is definitely fun down around those parts. The western 11 states in general are far more exciting in that regard. East of that is the “flat part”, followed then by the “crowded flat part” until finally you reach the “really crowded part” loltarmadilo, 86scotty, Big Road Skateboard and 1 other person Thank this.

Yeah because they havent invented enough cuss words that describe driving thru that tourist trap...lol it is pretty area but holy god a guy has to get right with god before driving thru there in the middle of tourist season, because you will almost get wrecked into about 20 times in 5 miles or people just walking right off the sidewalk into the road in front of u and i guess ur just sposed to come to a stop for themSons Hero, wore out, Ddh77777 and 1 other person Thank this.

Last time i been thru there was earlier this summer. They were having some jeep event , where everybody comes to town in their jeeps then they go north of town and go offroading in them or something.... Well it was just my luck to get in to town at the exact time there was 2 thousand jeeps in a parade heading north all at once... And we proceeded to do 35 mph all the way north even when the speed limit was 70 ... I thought to myself im pretty sure this is what hell looks like. Doing 45 mph under the speed limit surrounded by jeep douches on all sides..
