What if it Snows?

Did they bring him stateside and he stayed? There were a couple of pow camps in New Brunswick, some chose to stay afterwards….. I don’t mean to pry

 

My grandfather came to the US as a POW in WWI. He stayed. My dad in WWII was in the pacific, probably because he was 1st generation German. A lot of Italian guys in his outfit too I guess. Met my mom at Camp Adair (she was working with the USO) - they were both from Minnesota (about 50 miles apart as the crow flys) but met and married at an army post in Oregon.

 

Well yeah. That’s why I said it. And I ain’t no gambling man.

 

I got a new job that starts on the 1st a couple of hours away from my home. It'll be mostly traveling, so I bought a camper today to have a place to lay my head. I almost made it home with it. The truck was running strong like always and went up in flames without warning. Thankfully the fire didn't make it to the camper.
