I can't argue either side of the topic, but batteries in my shop don't sit on the concrete - just in case there is some truth to it.

 

From what I've seen, yep.

The cooler a battery is, the slower it loses charge.

 

i must be to young for the old wives tale, i never heard that before until now.. learn sumtin everyday

 

Im the same way with walking under ladders and seeing black cats. Im hardly superstitous but i proceed with caution just in case
