    Got clutch off. Dirty but else just mess to be cleaned up to me?

    Yeah, that long air dump is the giveaway. A quick hiss is normal, but 10 seconds usually means the clutch is bleeding off internally. At 700k it’s not unusual for them to start failing even if there’s no play yet. Both BorgWarner and Kysor are good—if FTL has the Kysor cheaper, I’d go with that. You’re probably catching it early, so swapping it now will save you from getting stuck with a fan that won’t disengage later.

    After close inspection I found the washer on the clutch had rotted. Was glad to see something. Probably could just use the kit but got it done and back running. Thanks all!
