I've been living in a RV for the past 7 years. I had a travel trailer for the first 4 years and traded that in a few years ago for a fifth wheel toy hauler. Went cheaper with a Forest River brand this time. So far it's been alright. I'm sure it helps that I keep it parked inside my shop 99% of the time. Only pull it out maybe 5-10 times a year to run it to the nearest dump site and a few longer vacation trips.

You would think buying new would be good but they are built so horribly most people recommend to buy at least 1 year old in hopes that the person who bought it new got all the warranty time in the shop out of the way.

It's almost not worth dealing with the warranty unless it's something big. For as horribly built as they are at least they are easy enough to work on. Parts are fairly cheap and everything is made by Lippert and available online for much cheaper than a dealer.

All my riggin has a spot. From slings I use for certain things to chains. I’m bad to use chain falls for leveling. I can’t stand to have my #### piles in the floor or a tool box drawer. When I was working off my mechanics truck I could send a new swamper to get anything and tell exactly where it was. With the exception of an ink pen usually

Your eyes are off, but the picture does look that way. Rest assured they are straight. If they weren’t I’d have a bent axle. Straight axle front end

When the cases were made from recycled rubber and could bleed milliwatts of energy through the case to ground if the top was dirty it was possible.
With the high density plastics in use now the possibility, while not eliminated, has dropped exponentially.

Well guys, for down home cooking like I remember aunt Winnie cooking, this place is the ticket!!!!! In my opinion Cracker Barrel ain’t even in the same picture. And if you’re stuck at the Truckstop on I-64 at exit 45…. Well, if you can get a Uber you’re only a jump skip and a hop away….
