200 years ago we didn't have electricity and running water, what is the point here?

The point is some of us didn’t have ac and it didn’t keep us from running and making money. Even though the temp control was the window crank and the blower fan speed was the throttle pedal. We ran and got #### done no matter what. We didn’t turn down loads south of I-20 and south west in the summers when it is triple digit temps. South Tejas is still in the 90’s at 10pm. We wouldn’t stop moving snd shut the truck down and hide under a blanky in a hotel room for something trivial like that. If the engine still turns and burns it trucked on. We are still alive and have been able to live a fruitful life. I still run 3 old trucks that don’t have a/c. Many old timers still do. It ain’t no hotter nowadays then it was 30- 50 years ago. Just more pansy and entitled. And A/C Is NOT required by law. Only heat and windshield defrost in anything built since 1968.

Yes wing windows are f'n awesome living in the north and basically sticking to the north I really only use the ac about 10 times a year when it works. I have a rooftop fan for when I sleep at night, its amazing how cool the sleeper gets with that constant rush of air getting sucked out of it.
