I have no idea because, I havent been a company driver in decades.
How much per mile or percentage do company drivers honestly make today
(09-27-25)? And how many miles?
To go by videos or reels or guys talking.
One would think company guys all drive 3500 miles a week and take home $2500

Kllm expedited is paying experienced drivers that much a week to team drive. No lie. With monthly performance bonuses, some drivers even see up to $4000 on the last pay check of each month.
-
Ltl is the highest paid. Xpo in the 70 cent a mile range.
snowlauncher Thanks this. -
It varies per company & account. It's like asking how much a new car costs today.Lonesome, Milr72, Peplow and 1 other person Thank this.

I would say you can probably drive 120,000 miles a year. That’s 10,000 miles a month or 2,500 miles a week That’s could be a little high since freight is slow right now. So find out what the pay per mile is and x 120,000 that’s about what you will make a year. This is for real trucking companies at W2 employees. Those fake 1099 jobs will say anything to get someone to sign up including the pay per mile.
bryan21384 Thanks this. -
I’m at 74cpm plus 2 cpm bonus. Doing OTR flatbed, 2800-3500 miles weekly.

So.....for an experienced solo driver who does OTR, the cpm range is within 55 to 65 cpm. As far as mileage, I'd figure that up to around a 2300 to 2500 per week. Some companies have the ability to put more miles on a driver, but i set my expectations by what an average driver does, which us around 2500 miles. I'd say an average driver can gross nearly 80k yearly.Mr Uturn said: ↑I have no idea because, I havent been a company driver in decades.

If you go with 60 cpm and 2500 per week they would gross 78k per year, running all 52 weeks per year.bryan21384 said: ↑So.....for an experienced solo driver who does OTR, the cpm range is within 55 to 65 cpm. But being OTR you still have to get home now and then, which likely lowers the miles for the 2 weeks surrounding getting home and going back out. -
I run linehaul for Old Dominion and our mileage rate is .85cpm in my region. We also get all drops/hooks and fueling paid. My current schedule is 3,140 miles a week. I'm home every night and my work week is 52hrs.
