    Hi fellas,
I was working on my Vanguard dry van trailer 2008 and decided to do all wheel seals, scam bushing and s cams replacement they are all worn and all seals are leaking. I installed new s cam bushings and when i slide the s cam it is moving freely as soon as I slide it in the other bushing by the slack adjuster and i tight those 4 bolts the s cam is locking. Looks like it is not straight to me by looking at the bushing by the slack adjuster, any help is welcome

    thanks!

Check that you have the correct parts. Check for a bent bracket at the inner bushing. It's going to be tight especially if you haven't greased anything yet. Make sure you have all of the hardware installed correctly and don't have any brackets bent and put it together with the brakes and slack adjuster grease it up good and should be ready to go.

I might have bent the bracket or maybe the spider not sure but ended up installing back the old s cam and it fits perfectly it is moving freely, as of right now looks like the s cam maybe was wrong but it looked the same to me. Tomorow sometime I will measure it and see if there is any difference in the s cam size.
