My son tells me that there is a group on Facebook (I think) of commuters from Victor, Driggs, Tetonia, ........ basically the Idaho side, by the name of Teton Passholes. It's amazing the stupid crap people do that gets shared on that group.
You have noticed how well posted the restrictions are, and from a long ways away on the Idaho side. No trucks over 60k ever, and no trailers of any type, cars and pickups included, from November 15th through April 15th or any other time it snows. The lighted sign boards are pretty clear. The number of trucks that wind up following their GPS and end up on the pass in the winter would amaze you.exhausted379, Gatordude, Feedman and 7 others Thank this. -
Not a farmer so I can't tell you the pluses and minuses of disc vs sickle but a lot of farmers are cutting with 30-35 foot straight cut draper headers. Those have sickle cutterbars on them. Seem to sell a lot more of those than the disc bines, which are usually around about 13 feet.exhausted379, Gatordude, Big Road Skateboard and 8 others Thank this.

I'm driving through Eaton Colorado right now. I don't know what their high school mascot is here, but if it's not the beavers they missed an opportunity

I love the sweet smell of success....it happens so rarely, I have to inhale as much of it as I can.
Finally got the right size vacuum hose replacement (9/32"), installed it and ran all the HVAC doors and mode, heat/defrost, etc through their settings...and I have a Winter drivable vehicle again.....have to check the A/C, it blew cool, but not cold, not surprising since I thought it had bought the farm, so I think I'll let someone with the guage set already check it out for me. ...and I'll check the 4x4 switching later. Had a lot of other things to do after that.
Sure am glad until I had the time and money to check this out myself, and saved probably $1500.00 - $3000.00 dollars or more from the experts that just wanted to tear the dash apart to fix the HVAC, when it was simply the vacuum feed hose gone bad.
So, I think I'll get to work on the concrete tear out next. I can leave it next to the house like I did 2 years ago, until I get the slab poured and cured for about 7 days, and then work on the spring shackles and/or haul the concrete out in small quantities prior to doing the shackles...either way, grass tomorrow and then concrete tear out work, so getting to bed early tonight, well...early for me.

Well she’s all did. The first 300 miles are in the bag. With about 15 miles of mild gravel/dirt trails. All four o2 sensors ended up being junk and a neutral safety switch. Engine runs great. The winch was junk, but I scored a 8k super winch for a 100 bucks on marketplace. I’m pretty certain it’s a triple digit jeep with those 3.08 rears. Transmission is smooth as silk. So there you have it. A 9,000 dollar, 7,000 dollar jeep.
