I always thought the lace curtains around the windshield , and driving gloves, qualified.

Gee, I thought I was the only one who thought so. A mod that only an orangutan would love....

Also, to be a "super trucker", you need personalized mudflaps. You could always go with the ubiquitous 'reclining chrome lady', but that's so common that you'll only become a 'slightly above average' trucker with those. No, I'm thinking of some off-the-wall flaps, both of which I've seen years ago:

The first was a set of trailer flaps, one green and one red. The green one was on the driver's side, with an arrow pointing left, and in large letters said "PASS". On the curbside was the red flap, similar arrow, pointing right, with large letters saying "FAIL".

In a similar vein were a pair of flaps, the left side said "El Paso", and the right side said "El Cruncho".

My favorite super trucker head scratcher: huge chrome sunshade, usually on a Large Car, that leaves the driver a very narrow slot to actually see through.

I kinda like being able to look out the window…

Don’t forget the chrome tips on the front of your side zipper Tony Lama tennis shoes. And pull your britches down so you have about 4” of your crusty butt crack showing.

Go as fast as you can going down hill, and always pass when you have a 1mph advantage no matter how long it takes.

    This is the Supertrucker mentality.

Was in the office and overheard the owner interviewing a driver
    1. Doesn’t drive in the dark.
    2. Doesn’t drive in the rain.
    3. Only works 8 hours a day, Monday through Friday.

Local/regional job. Regional home twice during the week and all weekend. Local home every day, but you spend 12 hours a day in the saddle. 5 day work week. $1500/week average. Bennies. 100% drop and hook. No driver cams. 70 mph trucks. Drive goes full diva during the job interview.
