Taking another swing at it

Orientation is Thursday. I know I’m good but still nervous about getting back out there.

 

Showed a response here but nothing has shown up yet.. I’ll report after I get back from Mt Pleasant

 

Easy orientation. I even got to pick between two identical trucks. 5.5% safety bonus paid out quarterly for every safe month. Just drive normal and I’ll get it.
Reefer trailers of cheese regularly going out and milk coming back. Tankers of milk runs available if I want to work weekends

 

My first cheese run starts Monday afternoon. I feel like I’m cheating because they are putting me in an automatic

 

This might get monotonous, but it’s job security. I’m at my first of 3 stops in Michigan with my back haul of bottled milk to Costco

 

Second cheese run delivery spot. My appointment is 9am tomorrow so I’ll get a full reset to get my backhaul to my first stop tomorrow afternoon.

 

I’m reminded that when parked , and you have to use the restroom, it’s basically like having an outhouse 200yards away

 

I’m home. They don’t run cheese out on weekends. But if you have a Friday milk pickup. You can still unload at Costco’s on Saturday morning.
When I’m done with this bothersome biweekly infusion schedule and it goes to monthly, I should be able to get into a groove to get 3 turns a week.

 

So, 1 day to pickup and travel, 1 day to unload/reload and travel to store 1, 1 day to unload at 3 stores…then they have the next load pick up the following day instead of after my last store unload.
This is why I’m only getting 2 round trips a week.
I believe if I left out preloaded Sunday, unload at stores Tuesday, I could reload more cheese for Wednesday, hit 3 stores Friday…no. It still doesn’t work out. how can I make this work so I get 3 trips in a week?

I’m just thinking out load.
