I like to fly by the seat of my pants. Keeps it fun when a low clearance comes looming into view or a "no thru trucks" sign gives you scolding for even thinking about it.
Google is not your friend. Use an Atlas or at least a truck GPS.

You have this guy telling you where to go?

From some of the situations we see sometimes. you'd think so.
But yeah Thats the Gargoyle... If I remember right, the 1st Gargoyle movie I seen was black & white.... LOLMACK E-6 Thanks this. -
I must be getting two creatures mixed up. I remember slimy creatures in the 1960's that I remember as being called Gargoyles. But I cant find any references to any movies that featured Gargoyles prior to 1972. They had o' slimy goop dripping of of them.
Any body have any clues? They were a little bigger than humans, and came out of the swamps if I remember right. -
Google is amazing!

Common sense needed no matter what tool .... And maybe listen to someone who's been there?
My boss asked me to call and guide a new driver into a particularly tough dairy .....
On first call he was about to follow Google off and exit I knew would cause him issues. I got him back on the freeway and told him which exit to take as well as provided a new pin drop to better access point...... I knew I had him back on freeway told him to call me when he turned on the road at pin drop I sent....
Called him back 30 min later since he hadn't called me and he says "the dairy isn't the right one"...... I said I didn't send you a dairy location but instead an intersection to turn on....... He said well I got your pin drop but didn't put it in just kept going to my original one ..... Ughgg had to then stay on the phone with him for 35 more minutes literally walking him thru each turn telling him to stay on highway not follow his old Google turns.......
Worse part is, the main reason my boss wanted me to help him with was the poorly designed feed bins and maneuvers to unload ... I spent almost as much time keeping him on decent roads to get to the dairy scale as I did guiding him around feed bins ...
