Hi, i have a 07 4300 which has check engine code, which is Ambient air sensor, i called Dealer they said its on the driver side mirror which i don't see the tip of the sensor from the bottom of the big mirror., some website says its in front of radiator in the driver side which is not there either.
it is the sensor hiding inside the mirror? on you youtube i saw someone changed a mid 2010s mode i can clearly see the sensor on the bottom of the mirror but mine doesnt have it.

I recently replaced one. It was inside the mirror I had to take the convex lower mirror out to access it.
Adjust the lower convex mirror all the was down then slide it upwards and it should come out.

the mirror i have doesnt have a sensor tip hanging out from the upper mirror, and all the mirror for sale on ebay doesnt have any wires came out for the sensor plug, do you have a newer model which is newer than 2015?

Are you sure it isn't the Intake Air temp sensor? That is different. Those engines did not even their own Ambient Air Temp sensor for a few years yet.

What engine is this and what is the code?

That is not a full code. What are you using to read it? It is missing the Source Address, (SA) or MID number

So that code is actually coming from source address 23 which is from the cluster. The ambient temp sensor in this truck is only for the driver display. If you have a Check Engine light on, the engine has a code that your scanner is not able to read.
