There’s a reason people use the saying ( Me turn now good luck) in this case it was Me go now good luck..

I used to drive that route a lot with my dad when i did usps. We had a SLC to flagstaff run with a stop in page. I also grew up in utah and that entire road has been a joke since i was a kid.

Hell when me and dad teamed for USPS we got hit 7 times in one year. 4 of them while we were entirely stopped for traffic when they did that big construction project on the dam road. Two who blew through 98 and Tboned us and once when someone sideswiped us when they were over the line.

Dash cam saved our bacon each time but after that year we refused that route from then on out. Literally the day after we swapped out the very first run the new guys did ended up with a fatal headon by some moron doing well north of 100 while street racing up by the dam.
