    Rates are location dependent....

I haul into places that are in BFE....and I remind the brokers of that....One thing is for certain...Where I go....No NAFTA truck from Cali will go...Their trucks wouldn't make it past the coops in Cabazon....

You can be oversize and not over-gross...
I have hauled many wide or long load that were "light"....

If you have enough axles and permits..... You can haul just about anything...

I was wondering the same thing. I don't do OS/OD but that didn't seem very high.

I did the same as you last year, only ran 40k miles and almost doubled that in income.

Right now things are so busy that I've been getting calls all week and I've told everyone I'm down. Some great rates too!

That's $2.90/m....I did round up the mileage to 1200 miles even for that calculation though....

I came up with 3.03 using rand mcnally but you know depending on the size of the load is how they route you. I guess if its just wide and not heavy thats a good rate?

Google maps gave three directions....Most direct was to take the 80 all the way.....at 1189.....I always round up if it's greater than ..50......

Yeah I seen that and it will be expensive to run that way! Right now in my area we are getting more than that for legal stuff. Now its not as many miles but even the longer stuff is really paying good.
