It's not for everybody. I just couldn't pass the lick up tbh. If I didn't have a fixed plan in place, I'd have stayed solo.

I didn't get bombarded lol I'm guessing cuz its rare now to find a company with choice not to have inward facing camera and I didn't realize .65 per mile was such a huge ask with almost 7 years experience and a clean record

There’s drivers with 15-20 years clean driving that don’t get .65. Too many drivers out there willing to work cheap. Rates driven into the dirt.

In general there are at least 2 ways to have a mis-match between what we want and what is available.
    1) our expectation is unreasonable.
    2) economic conditions for the industry are very different now, versus some other time.

The industry is slow right now. High freight rates during Covid attracted a lot of people to flood into the industry and lots of companies to over-pay for new trucks. Now the freight rates are low, the economy is slow, AND lots of govt programs giving CDLs to every foreigner (legal and illegal), felon, and DUI driver have increased the number of new drivers able to drive a truck. There is now an over-supply of drivers compared to the amount of freight.

I'm surprised that there's an over abundance of drivers now that they are supposedly removing so many drivers who are driving illegally or don't speak English etc
