Not so fast. Oil drain plug may be a countersunk square for a metric ratchet. May have to file down a plow bolt head to fit and turn with a Stillson pipe wrench. (What did they say to a filter change?)

Well, I did both. Dentist was able to get me in by 2:00 pm, out by 2:30 pm, just had to reglue it, and set about taking two more trips with the 5 5gal buckets of concrete before I ran out of time to get to the dump yard...so went till dark breaking out the rest of the slab. Now, to decide whether to push my luck and expand the tear-out to another 3 feet into the yard to take out the other disintegrating section. Supposed to rain tomorrow, so will think on it. Have other things needing done, so if it rains, okay, if it doesn't, can switch gears and work out there instead. Michigan isn't known for it's consistent weather....always check the radar to see what's REALLY about to happen.

Friend, blairandgretchen, JolliRoger and 4 others Thank this. -
This one has a Cat C9 in it. Only reason I'm willing to do it and I limit my exposure to this thing to basic preventative maintenance.
He has a Unimog I was dumb enough to work on once and I told him if he tried to bring it back over here he'd better be prepared to dodge bullets before he gets halfway down our lane. -
@JolliRoger

A friend of mine, early 60s, had his wife attack him. Cut his face, knocked the mirrors and windows out of his truck and tried to do an arson attack on his motor home. She got locked up, he moved out of her home and got restraining orders filed. Saw the loving couple Sunday at the pub.
While at the pub, my waitress, mid 30s with 4 kids (her child and she received full custody and no visitation for her ex’s 3 biological. Well, daddy dearest went by the house to spook the kids. They blew mom’s phone up scared and hysterical. Mom is standing outside the patio trying to comfort the kids when daddy dearest rolls through the lot. Mom panicked, ran inside and the law was called.
I do my best to avoid this type drama, but I have 2 sisters, 4 nieces, 3 nephews and my club brothers. Even with family, I will avoid involvement unless they agree to do things 100% my way.
1. Go Dark. For at least 6 months. No social media, no contact, no phone conversations, no mutual friends. And turn off the location features on your apps.
“But Six, if I don’t respond, he/she escalates…”. Exactly what I want them to do. No new phone number, no blocking numbers, no stupid TikTok videos. If you make contact, we’re done…enjoy your arse whuppin.
2. Figure out how this person figured out how they can crap down your neck and make you thank them. If you don’t take the time to self reflect, you are doomed to repeat this saga. Learn from your mistakes and become better.
20 years ago, my youngest sister’s boyfriend called me on the cell, “Hey Six, is Dee around?”
Dude, this is MY phone. “Yes, I know…she won’t answer my calls…<CLICK> (I hang up.) A few hours later, a cop brother of mine called me, “Six, better get to your mom’s house, you got WWIII going down!”
I get to mom’s, cops are all over, firefighters and an ecnalubma. Apparently, lover boy got so pissed off that he borrowed his mom’s car, drove 150 miles to confront my sis and smack her around in her mom’s house. My kid brother was at home also, heard the attack, snuck up with his weapon of choice, his big Bertha golf driver, and “FORE!”, hitting lover boy with a perfect swing. I get there, the cops and firefighters are laughing, kid brother, 15 at the time is scared out of his wits about going to jail, sis is ugly crying with snot rolling out of her nose. Lover boy is on a stretcher, with a halo to hold his neck still and butterfly bandages to temporarily hold his face on.
How did you get to the point to where it’s okay for this dude to put hands on you?
Things were going well, but he found out that when they weren’t together, she would hang with her friends. They had an argument, he said hurtful things, but later apologized for having trust issues from childhood. She, being understanding, quit hanging with her girlfriends. He found out that she and mom had a tight relationship and would tell mom everything. They had an argument, he said hurtful words, apologized for trust issues from childhood. She quit telling mom everything. Dude lived 150 miles away, but he’s able to separate her from friends and family. Unbelievable. Of course, the behavior ALWAYS gets worse. Fortunately, after that Arnold Palmer Golden Bear Jack Nicklaus biblical level arse whuppin he took, we never saw him again.FullMetalJacket, CAXPT, beastr123 and 6 others Thank this.
