Adjusting for Schneider's current pay structure as a new hire with the miles I ran 15 years ago I'd be well north of 70K.
The 83K was what the KT terminal manager told me to expect as a new hire at the top of the pay scale. That was two years ago, but 83K for working 3rd shift is crud.

Apparently a lot changed in the run of two years. Their top pay drivers are averaging $135k annually. I don't know any top pay driver at Schneider who makes that
-
Thr question is who is earning top pay?
Two years ago at Schneider I made $103k and was told the best I could hope for at KT at the top of the pay scale was $83k. That was hauling fuel, grocery makes more. I also interviewed for a position in Appleton but was offered a position in Oshkosh.
True North offered a much better paying job, but had coworkers that pissed me off with barely a hi hello.Lonesome Thanks this. -

Do you have to be licensed to get started? Or do they have a school as well? I've been looking into grant options for training, but hey i'll take paid as well.

That one is OJT through the company. That one won't be OTR though. I'm not sure they have a Texas location, so call and ask.
Transportation locations include but are not limited to:
- Wisconsin: Appleton, Baldwin, Kenosha, La Crosse, Madison, Mauston, Menomonie, Menomonee Falls, Oshkosh, Plover, Superior, and Waukesha
- Minnesota: Eagan, Eyota, Owatonna, Rochester, St. Cloud, St. Paul, and Worthington
- Iowa: Clear Lake, Davenport, Des Moines, Dubuque, and Waterloo
-
Do they have Kwik Trips in Texas? I've only seen them in the Midwest
-
I don't know; the website says "not limited to" the locations on the website.
Guess a phone call can answer that. -
Doesn’t Schneider start drivers at .45 cpm?BrothaTrucka513 Thanks this.

About there, and $10/hr for all on duty time logged, plus a 3 cpm quarterly bonus and 2% annual bonus. Any experienced hire should be able to easily make $72k working an average of 5 days a week.
KT was a 5/2 4/3 schedule (or something like that which results in every other Saturday off). Once you move up in seniority and get on days, the money is there. Its not enough for working nights.
