And ya can’t always associate age with experience. My buddy with the old A model Kenworth was setting in a Truckstop out west few years ago laying in his sleeper, when the truck started shaking mixed with the sound of crunching. When he got out of the truck he found a van trailer tandems against the right front fender, fender cracked and flexed out of shape and the new chrome gull wing bumper bent forwards.

Driver had an open area to the right of my buddy’s truck 100’ wide, but decided to swing in close making his u turn. Driver was 61 years old and only had 18 months experience…..
